Pluspunten
As a small but growing company, there’s a lot of work to go around at AnalysisWorks. For me, that has meant being able to come into the industry and significantly grow my career and my role within the company in a matter of years. It also means there’s a lot of autonomy to not only get stuff done, but also take on the kind of work that interests you.
I’ve also been extremely impressed with how much management genuinely cares about their staff. Smaller companies don’t have the red tape you find elsewhere, so the management team has a lot of flexibility to show that they care about you as both an employee and a person, and they look for opportunities to do so. Even though the workload can be high, in my experience, if management gets the smallest sense that I’m feeling overwhelmed, they do everything they can to support me, even if that means working extra hours themselves.
Minpunten
This place is filled with perfectionists with very high expectations, and given that a lot of the work is bespoke, we’re often tweaking things as we go. There is also just not enough time to spend months training new hires on each task. If you’re the kind of person who prefers a slow ramp-up, with really defined expectations, this is probably not the place for you. But if you’re the kind of person that enjoys learning on the fly, working with ambiguity, and constantly pushing yourself to be better and better, this is a really great place take your career.
