If you have the wrong manager your life could be like hell and HR would not do anything for you. They are there to protect the company (same as other companies ofc.). Benefits are bare min. They brag about all the extra holidays but the reality is that the total working hours are the same, so think about do you want to work 50hrs in 5 days, or 50hrs in 3 days.
