As normal for a small company finding our place in the world, AnswerRocket has undergone significant changes over the last 5-6 years of my employment (managers, processes, product design and vision). And yet the constant throughout all of the change is leadership's optimism, focus on efficiency, and the collaborative nature of our work. Every day is spent making sure we're all learning from each other and putting our best foot forward. It's an exciting and engaging place to work with lots more growth on the horizon now that we've proven ourselves as adept in the AI space!

Priorities can shift rapidly to ensure that we are reaching the right people and the right priorities at the right time.

Senior leadership also struggles with the fundamentals of running a startup consulting firm. Strategic decisions feel reactive rather than deliberate, and there is a heavy reliance on AI tooling to produce deliverables that fall short of enterprise-grade standards. For clients expecting sophisticated, bespoke consulting work, this is a meaningful gap. The culture ultimately rewards those who are "likeable" to the right people at the top, rather than those who are competent and hardworking.
