Relaxed. International. Good intentions. Some nice benefits.

Minpunten

Lack of trust. Everything needs to be approved by HQ in USA. Sr management does not take responsibility and has no decision making power. They implement good ideas but they do not follow up. What is OK for one department may not for another. Each Manager decides for themselves. NO TRANSPARENCY. People get moved to jobs when there was never a vacancy. HQ in USA does not give any chance to European approach.

Pluspunten

Lots of opportunities for growth and exposure to all varieties of the medical device lifecycle. Vertical integration is truly special for this and you will become a better engineer at this company. Overall positive culture, I have a friendly relationship with my management and I've enjoyed working with virtually all my peers.

Minpunten

Pay is lower than market average and you will need to put in more than what you'll get. There is also ambiguity on the metrics management assesses team member growth for promotions or pay increases. Work/life balance can get rough particularly in R&D depending on the project.
