Pluspunten
I was asked to resign from ApplyBoard because I refused to blindly flatter my manager. Leadership here rewards yes-men, not performance. Some senior managers have been sitting in the same role for years without growth or vision, and it shows.
The company has made reckless decisions, laying off entire departments that were essential to operations. The people left behind are either constantly worried about being next or are just those who know how to “play the game” by bootlicking. Hardworking employees are punished, while incompetence is protected.
The Basiri brothers are driving the company downhill. Many recruitment partners are already moving to more ethical and stable competitors. Students and partners suffer because there’s barely anyone left to actually do the work. If you apply through ApplyBoard, don’t expect timely responses as they’ve fired most of the people who used to care.
I left frustrated, but honestly, I feel relieved now. The way things are going, I don’t see this company lasting long. ApplyBoard is a sinking ship, and it’s not worth building your career here.
