Arup has amazing employees- experts in the field and experienced practitioners. Pay and benefits are very good. Workplace is professional, respectful, and inclusive. Lots of career opportunities.

Minpunten

Very high expectations that aren't always made clear. The focus on timesheets and profits is unusually high for a design firm, overtaking many other aspects of the job. It can be difficult to find clear direction or support from managers and colleagues. Poor life/ work balance and very intense work environment.

great supervisor, lots of professional development opportunities

insane workload and expect you to be available for work 24/7. some teams are drowning and others have no resourcing. layoffs happen completely randomly and they lay off people who are 100 percent billable. profit share is bs and you get nothing as a junior member
