Pluspunten
The following review is primarily for their centralized services/non call center rep positions...Ashfield manages to hire excellent candidates at base salaries much lower than the competition; they then overload their employees to the breaking point. Depending on your viewpoint, it can either be hellish, or a great way to train for your next career move. Because they run so lean, you wear myriad hats and get tons of exposure to areas of the business that you wouldn't at a larger employer with its structure/resource budget together. When you do leave, you WILL miss the people, because you will get close to your coworkers (great people, plus you all share the frustrations of being overworked) But you'll realize later that you worked yourself to the bone for pittance. Hopefully you'll just be thankful for the experience, and not bitter like many forever employees. Their benefits are also decent for a mid-sized employer--benefits and opportunity for growth of a large employer.
Minpunten
Pay scale. Lack of trust: exempt employees must enter their hours worked in a timesheet! Sheer scale of workload: Ashfield hires one person to do the job(s) of 2.5 people, at the pay rate of 0.7 person. Variation in management styles and leaving so much to the mgr's discretion leads to very different experiences of their direct reports.
