Pluspunten

The atmosphere is welcoming. The training is extensive, the coworkers are lovely people. The job is rewarding. Work environment is laid back, and flexible.

Minpunten

Because of state regulations with Medicaid a lot of polices, processes can be changed quite rapidly. Benefits aren’t very good and they are quite expensive. There is options to advance but you must wait until someone leaves that portion, could be years.

This is place where one person can make a difference, even it that difference is in the life of one person with a disability.

Minpunten

You have to deal with lot's of Medicaid bureaucracy.

Minpunten

Grant funds through the State of Alaska, Dept. of Health & Social Services continue to be reduced for critical community based services for individuals with disabilities.
