I have been with Atlantic Health for 10 years and at Morristown for 1 year. The health benefits are great and provide a lot of security for me and my family. Also, my coworkers are wonderful; everyone is very helpful, and we really support each other on the floor.

Minpunten

The work-life balance is horrible. We are required to work all holidays and during winter storms. It is extremely difficult to get PTO approved, and the burden is on the employee to find their own coverage. To make matters worse, they decreased our PTO this year. Additionally, compensation is unfair new hires are coming in at higher pay rates than those of us who have been here for years.

Wonderful colleagues. Patients are treated well. Doctors, nurses and techs work hard and smart. Always something fun or worthwhile to participate in. Amazing people to work with. 100% deserve a best place to work. I loved Atlantic Health overall. 5 star with a bad apple spoiling the experience.

Poor communication at the middle management level. Incomplete, misleading communication on specific expectations, poor follow through on feedback, supervisor opinions formed without opportunity from employee to clarify. Very poor process efficiency and unwillingness to hear suggestions or solutions ... we've done it this way for a long time. This goes against corporate I in PRIDE. Slow to implement change and change is poorly implemented without use cases or thinking things through.. from my perspective. Supervisor words and actions are mismatched. Feedback without follow through for clarity.
