Overall the people who work there are generally kind and fun to be around. This field draws in the more compassionate, creative, and silly personalities so you'll meet cool people. Some really stressful and tough cases, Challenging parents, Erratic hours due to cancellations and difficulty rescheduling with the families to make up those hours. Due to different clinical hours assigned to each kiddo I ended up with 7 supervisors at one point and you can't always equally please that many different personalities. They are assigned too many staff and are spread out thin which affects their ability or willingness to help you grow. Raises are tough to get, even as an RBT. No benefits unless you are full-time and even that is not stable all year because school cases end in summer so to maintain full-time hours you have to hurry and get new cases to stay full time.(not sure if this has changed since I left)
