Pluspunten
I came for the pay slip, stayed for the suspiciously healthy work environment. No micro-managers breathing down my neck, just the sweet, sweet sound of trust. Either I’m actually competent, or they’ve just forgotten I exist—either way, I’m thriving.
Pros:
No micro-managers – I’m trusted like an adult human. Revolutionary.
Flexibility - I can load the washing machine and dishwasher guilt free.
Working from home – PJs are optional, productivity is not.
Happy colleagues – Either everyone’s genuinely joyful or there’s something in the virtual teapot. Either way, it’s contagious.
Management that cares – Like, actually cares. Not just “We care 😊” in Comic Sans on a corporate poster.
Nothing is too much trouble – Ask for help and someone will appear like a helpful genie, minus the lamp.
Employee-first culture – When there’s a disagreement, management picks us over the client. It’s like being the favourite child, all the time.
Manageable workload – I can finish my work and still remember what my hobbies are. Wild concept.
Minpunten
I now judge all my friends’ jobs and silently pity them.
I’m starting to worry it’s too good to be true. Is this how cults start?
