Schedules are almost always too tight for their own good. Leads to things being overlooked over the course of a project and is then left to the remaining (and much smaller) team to deal with towards the end of the project. Pipeline and workflow is not consistent project to project. Pipeline changes can be made multiple times during a project without proper consultation with all departments that would reasonably be affected by it. These are normally done with good intentions but always seem to introduce new complications that are simply expected to be lived with. Unofficial overtime is regularly needed in order to keep on top of an ever-growing task list which leads to burnout. Salaries are seemingly lower than comparable roles.
