Culture is going downhill. External hires are brought on for leadership positions rather than hiring internally. Axon is a nuanced business in our practices, which makes external hires difficult especially when they have no regard or interest in hearing from tenured employees about current pain points. The boots on the ground workers are rarely listened too and if one tries to speak out about a potential issue in practice, its viewed as unwilling to adapt rather than proactive feedback on something that has already been tried before, leading to exhaustion and burn out from the tenured employees.
