Minpunten
Unrealistic expectations, lack of fore sight and knowledge of the US market. Poor leadership, utilize fear tactics and degradation to keep people in line. On one hand they expect us to drive volume and grow programs while on the other they continue to strip away resources, funnel them into a few key partners, make them so convoluted that it is impossible to manage, fail to consistently and accurately pay our retailers and make continual changes to resources and then wonder why our customers don’t want to partner with us or follow our programs. Then when our partners don’t follow our programs because they don’t see the value in them vs what we are asking for we get in trouble, and thought of ending programs even at the request of the retailer don’t even think about that you’ll be reminded on the weekly email blast that you ended a program and we aren’t doing that. Pair this with consistent distribution issues, how can we grow volume when we can’t even get the product shipped consistently. It feels really awesome to go to work everyday give a 110% and still feel like a failure because no matter how hard you work here it will never be enough to keep up with the expectations when having to over come constant internal issues . I used to love this company and would have done as much as I could for it however at this point it’s evident we are nothing more than a dispensable budget line item to BAT. It really makes you motivated to not want to do anymore than the bare minimum and wait out your time until leadership has to make up money for bad decisions by going through another round of employee headcount reduction. Unless you enjoy getting yelled at by your customers everyday, feeling like you can never do enough to please leadership and being okay with being a number to your corporate I wouldn’t work here…. The only thing that has kept me here is the shared misery at the local level.
