Pluspunten

The company is financially stable. The work environment is very much like a family and the office itself is a comfortable place to work. Salaries and benefits are about like other companies in Phoenix.

Minpunten

A privately owned corporation run by personalities rather than policies. Upper management is not engaged with the employees, and it is a run primarily for the benefit of the owners. Employees are viewed as expendable, so there's a lot of turnover.

Pluspunten

They will hire you out of desperation which is great in an area like flagstaff where jobs are scarce.

Minpunten

Your time, safety, and efforts are not valued here. They rely heavily on ex-inmate laborers, not because they want to help, but because they want to take advantage of your shortcomings and government subsidies. Before I arrived at this location, employees settled their differences by beating each other in the warehouse while others filmed and bet. Just an example to let you know what you’re in for. Your pay will be tweaked, it’s subjective to whether or not you and your work is liked. Whatever way they can squeeze more out of you they will. Piece rate? nope, not when your work is terrible, so you worked two weeks minimum wage. What are you going to do about it, Go somewhere else? Gas cards for vehicles never work or are never funded. People have used personal funds to put fuel in a multi-million dollar company’s vehicles and have never been reimbursed or they had to wait multiple pay periods before they were. Unsafe, unreliable, and shameful equipment. Trucks overheat, no door handles, seatbelts, locks, trucks with double wheel rear axels being driven with (known) blown out tires. No respirators or air supply for foam guys, scaffolding missing hardware or broken, ladders bent and broken. If you bring any concerns or have any personal issues and bring it up to management your news will spread like wildfire. Professionalism and tactfulness is not something corporate and upper management does. So if you do have something personal or private going on, keep it to yourself. Or have your business spread through the company. Training is almost non-existent. The turnover is too high for them to be able to take the time to show you how they want things done. Only a handful of people are genuinely qualified in the trade. And that runs all the way up the chain of command. You will never be trained properly. You won’t be able to take your experience anywhere else and will need to be retrained. If you show any sign of competency, experienced or not, you will be a lead, and your teams failures will be held against you, and you will lose pay or your job entirely. You will work with drunks and addicts. The chance of you getting into a work vehicle with someone intoxicated behind the wheel is fairly high. You will work with violent offenders, you will work with offenders of other backgrounds too, if you catch what I’m saying. With that being said, there is a healthy balance between blue and white collar crime here. Watch the people at the top, they're criminals too. They look for any way possible to not give you your due, they find loopholes and back doors to keep you working and to take from you any way they can. I’ve worked for many terrible companies where it’s evident that they’re taking advantage of you. But this place is impressive in its practices. You literally can’t trust anyone here, from the individual branch nonsense to corporate slime. The worst things is, it’s presented under the guise of working for a “family business”. You’re not the family. You’re not even a friend.
