Pluspunten
Local Singaporean colleagues were nice. The office space was decent, and the location was convenient.
Minpunten
- Chinese bureaucracy with line managers from China carrying the always right mindset. Locals working under them are miserable. A place where locals vs mainland chinese. - Terrible Management: Incompetent managers from their Shanghai office running the show. Creating toxic work environment by gossiping on fellow teammates. Unprofessionalism at its very "best" with line managers snaring at you during presentations and making personal attacks after. - Toxic Environment: The culture is incredibly negative. People are afraid to speak up, and there's a lot of gossip. The leadership doesn't encourage collaboration and, in fact, they don't even speak to one another. - Lack of Career Growth: There's no clear path for advancement. In fact, there was no KPIs even and they expect you to perform to their "imaginary KPIs". Promotions are unheard of and no bonus either as they are not performing. Currently business is still in the red. - Manpower: the company is constantly "recycling" manpower across the brands they managed and putting on a false front that they are doing well when in fact the SEA arm of the business is in the deep red.
