Pluspunten
In my opinion, they book plenty of time for grooms. Usually never any drive time tho.
Minpunten
This position involves providing client services while utilizing company vehicles, which are frequently in poor condition and require frequent switching, often disrupting appointments. Compensation includes a base salary with the possibility of bonuses, though these have been revoked, making earnings less competitive compared to commission-based salon jobs in the area. Employees are expected to manage a demanding schedule with little to no support from management. Favoritism is prevalent, and those who are not part of the favored group may experience unfair treatment and retaliation for speaking up. Management does not provide assistance during logistical challenges, such as vehicle breakdowns, and does not check in on employee well-being or workload. Raises are leveraged against employees, and those planning to leave may find their schedules altered without notice, making it difficult to properly transition out of the role. Additionally, the company has revoked bonuses, which were previously the only factor making wages competitive with commission-based salon positions. Turnover is high, and the company prioritizes its own interests over employee needs. Non-binary employees at this particular hub faced additional challenges, as the work environment was not accepting or accommodating of gender diversity. Something as simple as adding pronouns to their name was met with resistance, and management was unsupportive when concerns about inclusion were raised. One employee who requested a schedule adjustment was met with clear retaliation, further reinforcing the company’s pattern of treating employees unfairly. The lack of inclusivity and support made it even more difficult for non-binary individuals to work comfortably in an already challenging environment.
