Minpunten
Mickey Anderson's dad, Tal, had a shot to make real money and improve his family's life. Starting in 2022, Mickey took that same opportunity away from his employees. The company issued new pay plans that reduced earnings, even capping the pay at some dealerships. Retail sales employees are now doing the work of sales, finance, and managers for less money than they were making before. Managers at some stores took 40% pay cuts. Service advisors are making less, too; in one instance an advisor quit when faced with a $45k pay cut. Employees are leaving when they can and suffering when they cannot. New sale staff starts at $40k for a 45+ hour work week, the equivalent of $17/hr. Apartment, student loans, and a car payment? Try to support yourself on that. Morale is down, and the new HR team is unable to convince us that we have such a great place to work. It's discouraging to know that one of the richest people in the city is telling you to DO MORE WITH LESS while he is buying more dealerships and cutting everyone's pay.
