Bayer offered a good place to start a person's career, but lack of opportunities as you move up the ladder.

Minpunten

As part of the change over the last five years, decision making is mostly done in Germany. Also, promotions are very limited to people in Germany.

Bayer sounds great - "health for all, hunger for none". and "dynamic shared ownership". There are some truly amazing people working at Bayer.

Minpunten

But it's "health for all, hunger for none" and "dynamic shared ownership" are bogus. So many people who embraced DSO were let go for voicing their opinions. The toxic leaders made the decisions, and the organization was not truly ready for Bill Anderson's call to action. It's profits first, not people. I believed - but it saddens me to write that I was wrong.
