Well funded, good pay, great benefits. Nice people, staff and patrons. Administration moving in right direction. Public supports library.

Minpunten

Some old guard staff are very set in their ways. Tech is behind the curve. Occasionally problem patrons can get scary.

Pluspunten

Biggest plus is the people who work at the library are overall really nice folks. The library is also a beautiful environment to work in, a gorgeous space with an open feeling. Also a good rate of pay for part time.

Minpunten

Not exactly a con, but, this can be difficult at times... You must be ready to interact regularly with homeless folks and some people with mental challenges. Despite the issues that can come with this, i feel it is important that there is a warm dry place for them to go. But it can be occasionally unpleasant. There is good security though, in case of any issues.

Staff is very cliquey, borders on bullying.
