      Culture. Colleagues will turn into friends. Some upper management really care about your growth. Many sister companies that you could collaborate and network with. Really good place to kickstart career. Learning new tech tools.

      Minpunten

      While some management is cool and really care about your growth:, others will stunt it. This type of manager will close off any opportunities for you. They will literally do nothing and push duties off onto others. This creates burdensome workloads with zero light at the end of the tunnel. When reaching out for help they will tell you to “figure it out”. RTO is now 4 days a week is a less of a con nowadays.

      -You will be hard pressed to find another company that invests in your professional growth as much as BNet does. BerkleyNet understands that not everyone comes in with insurance expertise and will give you the resources to teach you and expose you to all areas of the business. -The finance department where I worked is a great group of individuals and is a tight knit team. The CFO is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive whenever you have questions or an idea you’d like to share. -involvement in cross functional projects was a great way to get exposed to the full business. This is not the place to be if you want to come in and only do accounting. There is an expectation that you become a well rounded professional and understand the insurance industry which may be a con to some people. -BNet does a great job with transparency and communication from upper management. Routine town halls kept the whole company informed on ongoing projects and quarterly financial results.

      Manassas is a very nice area but unfortunately for me was just a long commute
