Pluspunten
Apart from some interactions with some colleagues, there were no positives.
Minpunten
There's a lot that is expected from you at short notice, with minimal to no support. Organisation is poor as everything is micromanaged despite there being a lack of ownership or knowledge around a lot of areas. I experienced hostility from the a colleague who came in on their day off sick, phone called into the office, and also video called via WhatsApp to shout at staff. I have never seen such crazy and unprofessional behaviour in my life. They are very rigid around dress code and being in the office full time, despite not having adequate space and not having adequate tools for compulsory activities such as online meetings. They would call reception staff on her days off to ask what members of staff were wearing, and find any fault in other areas so they could pick fights later on. From what I observed, the company did not pay the minimum standard pension entitlement (3%) for employees – instead instructing individuals to pay into an ominous 'stakeholder pension,' which I never heard any details about. There is no privacy as the whole place is crammed with students. It is normal for people to walk into your room even when you're in a meeting. There is no staff break room and nowhere for a quiet space. The toilets are often filthy, and when I expressed my dissatisfaction around this, I was recommended to leave the building and go into another building's toilets.
