Decent benefits package, especially in comparison to startups or smaller companies.
Minpunten
The company has drastically changed for the worse since Marcus Lemonis took over. It began with questionable strategic decisions involving Overstock and the Bed Bath & Beyond brand. What followed were multiple rounds of layoffs, including during the holidays, which devastated morale and left critical gaps in operations. Instead of supporting the remaining workforce, leadership removed essential tools, paused raises, and replaced them with a bonus structure tied to company profitability—something that’s clearly not materializing if you've been following NYSE: BYON. It's hard to be “profitable” when you're under-resourced and overburdened. Career advancement has become nearly impossible. With so many departments eliminated, there’s little room to grow. And even when opportunities do open up, promotions often go to friends of leadership rather than those who’ve earned it—cronyism is alive and well. What was once a collaborative, thriving workplace has been reduced to a disjointed, unstable shell of its former self. Sadly, unless there’s a drastic course correction, this company appears headed toward a bankruptcy collapse.
