Pluspunten
The only pro to working here is my colleagues here are amazing people. If the circumstances had been different (i.e. there was a different CEO and chair) the talented, motivated people that worked here could have done amazing things.
Minpunten
There is a reason that basically no employee lasts here longer than a year or two (tops).
The environment here is toxic because of the leadership. The business doesn't really do much of anything, largely because of constant employee turnover, micromanagement from the CEO and a toxic and unpleasant working environment. It seems to only exist to raise money from its members and as a vanity project for the CEO and chair so they can project an image of caring about innovation and the UK economy. They talk a lot about business purpose, but they don't actually follow those principles and seem to just want to pay themselves a nice salary and hopefully make some money out of one of the projects.
Employees here are underpaid because of 'budgetary reasons'. However this doesn't stop the organisation from having fancy offices, expensive furniture, large screen televisions, ego-boosting parties and several consultants. Many people come to work here because they believe in the stated purpose and mission of the organisation, but you quickly realise its a sham.
Also, it isn't a non-profit organisation, as stated on the LinkedIn and Facebook page. It is a private company with two shareholders that can pay dividends according to publicly available documents at Companies House. They run it according to their will alone.
