-Management do not listen to suggestions or issues brought up in meetings, but only care about output
-Lack of communication from upper and lower staff/departments
-Training needs major improvement (Figure it out! From a supervisor to an employee, especially one with no experience and in the Manufacturing department is not acceptable. There is a reason why shadowing exists. Assigning projects to a new employee on their first week to do independently, without experience is mindblowing, but it happens here. Not only observed it once, but several occasions)
-Low pay (which barely was modified couple months ago)
-High turnover rate (Majority leave within a year)
-Not enough space (Shifting people in the building and adding more new people does not solve the issue, there is still not enough room)
-Not enough equipment and outdated equipment that tend to break down often
-Manufacturing protocols need to be improved
-When wanting to transfer departments, associates are discouraged/opposed by management
-HR does not really help or fix issues that effects employees well-being. Issues that are brought in several exit interviews. They allow incidents to reoccur. Associates were not notified of any covid cases on campus only if it was mouth to mouth. Then suddenly notifications were posted on the BioLegend Network, without notifying associates of the page online (again, lack of communication)
