Staff of all nationalities are welcome. There was a monthly newsletter which was nice. If you have a full time job and want max 3/4 hours a week extra income this would be ok for you. This is not a job that you can depend on for an income. You are better off privately tutoring.

Terrible salary. 7.50$ for a HALF hour session and you were not guaranteed hours as they are given to you on a day by day basis. They never assigned me full hours and I signed a full time working contract. The max amount of hours I ever had in one week was 6 half hour classes at 7.50 dollars. Some weeks I did not have any classes because parents can cancel and you get 0 compensation for it unless the cancellation happens a couple of hours before the class is meant to happen. On average I had five, 30 minute classes a week. You are paid monthly. The time you put into preparing and teaching classes is not worth the low paid salary that you are given and there is no teacher input. You teach what you are given and you have to get through all the slides even though the ability of the students is very very low. You also cannot change them or say that the material is too hard for the student, it will not be taken well by management or parents. I was told that I would get more classes and build up my hours as time went on but I quit after 6 months because this never happened. The staff contact you through an app called Ding talk but they are very rude and unsupportive. There is no sick pay/ leave/ if you have an emergency and cannot teach a class because of unforeseen circumstances forget about it! I never personally had this problem but I had friends working at the company who recently left the company because they were not entitled to sick leave and would loose their benefits if they did take a sick day. You have to have a laptop that can run the software so if you don't have a windows or a mac there is no point applying. They say that if child does not show up after 8 minutes you can leave the class and get compensation however this is not true and I once waited 20 minutes for a student. When she entered the online classroom I had to get through 30 minutes of slides in 10 minutes. The platform has many problems and admin staff are very unsupportive and angry at you when their own platform does not work and you cannot get into y our classroom.
