Pluspunten
Most of the employees at Bloomfire when I was hired were wonderful. Most of them left either by their own accord or termination/layoffs while I was there.
Minpunten
Bloomfire’s been around for over 10 years but hasn’t (to my knowledge) ever found true product market fit or pivoted in a direction that has been consistently successful.
I witnessed a fundamental imbalance of priorities when I was with the company. There seemed to be more internal focus (promotions, advancements of job titles, etc.) relative to how much the company was growing at the time. No one cares if you’re a “Sr. ___ of ___” in a “growing” tech company if the org is in the same place it was a year or two ago.
That paired with the micromanagement and a LT that couldn’t get out of their own way made for a less than desirable working environment.
