Honestly, you should do your best to stay away from this place. It's an open secret that Blue State is a terrible place to work. It looks promising and sexy from the outside, but management regularly lie to and mislead their staff, people are miserable and fight with one another, and nobody really feels safe. I was shocked at how many people told me they hated their jobs. Management hides behind their "values" and how they prioritize "equity" and "equality" but they only care about these things as long as it doesn't threaten their grip on power and their refusal to adequately compensate their staff. Whatever you do, keep clear of HR. They often lie to and undercut people at the offer stage. And management rarely give promotions or pay raises. There are people there who have gotten one pay raise in 4 years. Blue State is the worst kind of liberalism--in name only and devoid of real meaning. The C-suite is ruled by hypocrites who just want to profit off of projecting progressivism. At Blue State, you'll be compensated badly, work long hours, and be continually lied to. It sucked.
