Minpunten
- The company took COVID19 situation as a joke, ignoring their employees' well-being and removing their feeling of safety and “fixing it” with ozone generators. The company’s official public statements, the donations to the University Hospital of Brno and the sappy-cringe video “play apart together” released last Spring are clear attempts of the hypocrisy this company preaches. - Some employees were being asked to work in the office even when some were testing positive. "COVID is not a reason for home office” - it took energy and effort to actually conceive the idea of WFH and it is still a sensitive topic in 2021. - There are too many Juniors commanding critical decisions about what should be out and what not, mix that with incompetent management, and the result is chaos, Managers couldn’t be bothered - Many of the company hires have their ego inflated and have never worked in teams before (i.e. large scale projects with other people involved). - Rampant turnover rates - NO room for growth, lack of career support and no mentoring - NO teamwork and effective pipelines. Managers don’t make an effort to put a team together working on a common goal and are unable to keep up with it. - NO transparency. ZERO. There are changes done and decisions taken without consulting other teammates, important discussions are held in secret groups and are never written down through meeting notes. If a feedback comes to place, there’s no time left, because it was poorly managed to even consider those last minute changes. - Peer reviews aren’t encouraged, only Managers giving their condescending opinion. Moreover, Managers tend to be patronising and dismissive of their employees. - If you have a slight, logical, critical/forward-thinking approach about a project, you might be thrown under the bus, because you won’t have any support from your leads if that doesn't align with the CEO -Managers and leads only care about keeping their positions and slither their way up - Sexist behaviour among employees/leads, and rarely solved by HR representatives when pointed out. Top Management made an ill joke: “…this is why women shouldn’t be working at Bohemia Interactive” at a Christmas party and the “apology” was bland and hidden inside an AMA response from a newsletter. - Nobody bats an eye at some of these behaviours displayed towards women, assistants or colleagues, in the office - Company culture is non-existent, there are no diversity and inclusion strategies, (awful, openly racist and sexist jokes on the Slack channels), no support to the LGBQT community - don’t be fooled by their rainbow-coloured logo. - There’s a lack of respect for the cleaning staff and office operation assistants, some employees think they will get their dishes and ‘other things’ cleaned up after them. - Nobody there seem to learn from their mistakes, not even after repeating several times the mistake that was made, it’s beyond frustrating to work like this without intentions to improve.
