Great place to work, great people

It’s closed now which is sad

The cofounders and everyone else at Bombfell are just good people. They truly care about everyone as individuals and it is without a doubt the most diverse and inclusive company I've ever worked with. Everyone is supportive of each other and I've seen people develop very close friendships at the organization and maintain them even after leaving. There's a reasonable amount of flexibility in terms of schedule and being able to work from home. Not having to worry about paying for lunch is also a good perk. The company is customer-focused and everyone believes that they're doing something good for the people who use the service. If you have an idea, people will listen to it. They might not always use it, but you'll definitely be heard. Also, it's somewhat trivial, but there are individual, gender-neutral restrooms, which I really appreciated.

There seems to be a bit of a division between the way some of the teams are treated within the company. It can also get a bit cliquish, and because everyone is so close and there are so many different personalities, the lunch table gets pretty loud. It's also not too surprising with it being a startup, but you can sometimes tell that there's a lack of experience in the way some things are handled.
