Pluspunten
As someone who has relocated to Nashville in 2011, I can honestly say that I’ve built tremendous friendships with so many people with whom I worked at BRIDGESTONE. It has been 3 years since I resigned, but I am still friends with all of my former colleagues. I have visited the new building and it’s beautiful. The amenities are great. Speaking from personal experience along with what I have noticed across other departments- BRIDGESTONE gives its employees a fair amount of freedom and doesn’t monitor the length of lunch and other breaks. Not too stringent on arrival or departure hours. People are free to move around the building and stop by for a quick chat with a friend at any time. That was the best part.
Minpunten
The reason they are so lenient is most like because you work from dawn til dusk and if you have remote access- the weekends as well. Most people work into the night from home as well as when they are on vacation. The pay isn’t fair. Many recent grads get a starter pay higher than the people who have been in the company for years. Lots of favoritism everywhere. Lies and deceit are prominent throughout the company. Most people are overloaded with work and can’t even take a lunch break and have to eat at their desks. Can’t use the wonderful amenities that the building offers due to the workload. The management is terrible. Hardly any of them are familiar with the industry and actual operations.
