I've learned more in the 2-years I've worked at Bright Cellars than I ever thought possible. If you want to work for a startup where you'll have growth opportunities and will wear many hats, then this is the place for you. It seems like many of the poor reviews here are due to a series of layoffs which were unfortunate and widespread across our industry. Joe, the CEO, has been with the company for less than a year. To blame him for a mess he inherited does not seem fair from my POV. I enjoy working with Joe. He's a dynamic, data-driven, decent human who deserves more empathy than demonstrated by the other reviews.

My hours were nuts for several months, but I'm proud of what we have to show for it now.

Unlimited PTO and decent benefits. Wish the quality of the wine had been better.

As others have mentioned it was a bit of a toxic workplace with poor leadership at the end, but they were acquired and the business was absorbed into another company.
