Pluspunten

The core company benefits that are shared by all are very reasonable and help to give people a comfortable work/life balance: flexible hours, profit share, up-to-date equipment, and so on. The company vision is aspirational and on a day-to-day basis you are trusted to complete your work using your preferred tools and techniques, which is great. Social events, excluding regular trips to the pub, include boardgame, LAN, and poker nights, all which are well attended and enjoyable.

Minpunten

Some aspects of the company aren't consistent - whilst high performers are rewarded behind-the-scenes there is little recognition of this in the workplace. There is sometimes a lack of ambition in terms of pushing people to grow and develop their skills. Growing your skill set and learning new techniques is mostly employee-led rather than being driven by the leadership team. Progressing through the organisation is currently driven by the individual, rather than being supported and nurtured by the leadership team.

Working at this small tech company in Brighton has been a great experience. The company culture is fantastic, with lots of social events and a fun, friendly atmosphere that makes it easy to meet new people and make friends. They are very supportive of various humanitarian projects, which is something I truly appreciate. The team is always helpful, and stakeholders are open-minded and receptive to new ideas, fostering a very innovative environment. Overall, it's a wonderful workplace with plenty of personal and professional growth opportunities.
