Aggressive development culture. High quality engineers. Management supports buying tools such as test equipment and EDA. Management allows for much leeway in individual engineering decisions.
Minpunten
There are many people with aspergers type symptoms. This makes collaboration difficult. Multi-site collaboration is also a problem. Personnel at the Irvine headquarters seem to be more equal than those at the outlying small design centers. The oncoming merger with Avago will negate the pros.
