Do you enjoy being focused only on next quarters profits? Do you enjoy working in an environment where managers can't conceive of work being done without being at a desk in their office? The scorched earth approach that was taken and thereby destroying what VMware used to be for the only purpose of squeezing money out of existing clients is not a viable long-term strategy.
