I have had direct experience with and access to interesting projects, leadership opportunities, and big players in the industry that I could not imagine having access to so immediately at another firm. -Being paid as a private sector employee to do objectively good work related to the public sector. The work done has real and positive effects on people. The company does not try to take advantage or exploit the funds of public agencies, and the contracted services end up saving or finding the agencies more money than the services cost. -Gila, the CEO, is an excellent employer, mentor, and individual. -Senior staff and other employees are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. -On a personal level, I love working in a skyscraper downtown in the loop in Chicago. -Good salary.

-Work-life balance can be inconsistent based on projects and contracts. Most of the time it', and every once and a while a project can seep into most of your time for a week or two. Overall it is ok, this isn't a 7 am to 10 pm at the office kind of job. -The awesome opportunities additionally add a "hit-the-ground" running kind of mentality - you've got to pick things up fast and be able to be proactive in identifying and learning about what you don't know yet.
