- Some really smart and excellent people still here - Cyber industry is exciting to work in - Working with hackers is cool - Decent salary package and benefits - Remote work - Little to no micromanaging - Decent work-life balance - Casey Ellis is GOAT

Minpunten

- There has been no product innovation since I joined - Company is slowly allocating less and less resources to operations. The people within this team are overworked, underpaid and stressed. Our customers, as a result, are suffering. - The company has no clear strategy - The product has little to no differentiation - Leadership is questionable - Recent acquisition that went nowhere - Recent lay-offs - Inner circle at the top - No growth or career opportunities to move up - Unreasonable sales targets and expectations Overall I've seen a steady decline since new leadership under Dave Gerry. I suppose the goal for this leadership is to sell the company and get a nice pay out for the inner circle as well as investors.

The actual work itself was interesting enough, I guess.

The real problem is nobody here actually acknowledges what you do. you could ship something solid, fix something broken, go above and beyond - and nothing. It's not that they ignore you on purpose, it's more like the culture just doesn't have room for " hey, good job." You get your paycheck, sure, but there's this constant feeling that your contributions are just expected background noise, which honestly gets old fast. What kills you is watching the same patterns everywhere - people putting in effort and management acts like it never happened, so after a while you stop caring because what's the point.

We are continuing to focus on strengthening manager effectiveness, improving communication, and creating more consistent ways to recognize meaningful contributions across the company. We know that appreciation needs to happen in day-to-day interactions, not just through formal programs or compensation.
