The company spends a lot of time and resources on training but the training is not focused or well organized for how the organization actually works.

Minpunten

I knew within 6 weeks of starting that I had made a bad career decision. The company is extremely understaffed and the COL roll was the dumping group for work that others across the company. The final straw was when the bonus eligibility that I had negotiated as a part of my offer was taken away significantly changing my earning potential. Out of 20+ people in my onboarding class less than half made it to their one year anniversary. This was a class filled with seasoned bene admin professionals that understand the demands of the industry but could not tolerate the dysfunction at Businessolver.

Thank you for your feedback. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this "live" with you as in my efforts to obtain context and facts around your comments, I was unable to tie them out. They want you to learn and master multiple skill sets within 6 months, no learning curve, inept support, clients having to wait weeks if not months for an answer (not a resolution) on open cases, no structure, no coaching, you get paid crumbs for doing a lot. Other companies have dedicated teams for COBRA, Direct bill l, LOA etc. Not here. They pile up the responsibilities on you within the 4-6 months and the only way you get a raise is based on how many clients you are trained on not on how many skill sets you have. They literally tell you, in orientation, if you’re not going to drink the kool aid you can leave. It’s cultish. They have a very antiquated attendance system. God forbid you get sick on a Monday or Friday and it wasn’t planned. What software company still operates like this??
