      Pluspunten

      Busuu employs talented and fun people (before letting them down or go!), so the office environment could be really great. The office is nice.

      Minpunten

      I would never recommend this place to anyone, there are too many wrong things with it and unless something radical happens, it will never change: - Culture is just a word, performance always comes first and it destroys people - Lack of vision - it keeps changing every quarter - Lack of experience at top level - Constantly chasing far too ambitious targets (and never meeting them)

We are ambitious at Busuu and we want our people to do work of a high standard that they can be proud of; however we also understand that this environment might not be suited to everyone. Our people is our number one priority and the supportive, friendly culture we have all created demonstrates this.       - The new management is very nice and understanding. - I've noticed that even when I provide all the necessary information when canceling a lesson, they still have to repeat steps, likely due to company policy. - The only reason I stay is because I absolutely love my students. - It can be challenging to find a job without a degree in the TEFL industry

      Minpunten

      -Asked for a raise, completely ignored me. -Very difficult to cancel lessons. -Don't know how well you're doing as a teacher so you're in constant "competition" with other teachers to keep your position. -I've heard that they can fire you without any notice or reason. -Changed policy that you can only do 25 hours per week
