Pluspunten
As a marketeer with an interest in the product, I’ve worked in some businesses that were not focused. The CEO here is a tough one, but the vision and mission is terrific. The recent departure of some non-performing salespeople and the arrival of great SDR people has dramatically improved the outlook and ‘feel’ of where I work in London. Flexible working, but the COS and CEO do insist on 3 days in. The rationale is something like ‘you can run something remotely, but growing a challenger in tech needs everyone to be ‘present’. I agree actually, and they have built a lovely office and enviroment to make it a pleasure to work there.

The CEO does get distracted by people’s opinions. I think he’s a good person, but some of the senior management in 2022 have had a real ego problem. He’s cleaning it out with coaching and replacement and listening a lot more. I’ve asked for better weekly comms as we grow Internationally. Sometimes the London office feels like it’s the centre and uninformed all at the same time! Culture and values need to be more firmly embedded and ‘lived’ by the team. It’s improving, but COVID had resulted in a little less cohesion within the team. Perhaps the above will help with that…
