Pluspunten
The salary is great and the benefits are good. CH2M Hill promotes working at home, which has good sides and bad sides, but it's nice to have the option.
Minpunten
The management and staff are unsupportive, getting promotions are difficult and the morale in the office is not good. It's not a very pleasant place to work. There's an tendency to be very clique-ish and not give newcomers work or even much administrative support, especially among folks who have worked there a long time. One senior person there even likened it to hazing and somewhat strangely, seemed proud that she survived it. In my opinion, there are plenty of places to work that are great from the get-go. Consulting isn't like a gang or fraternity, where you should have to be hazed before getting good projects.
