lots of hours comradery in misery
Minpunten
poor staffing - not the staffs fault mind you, just running on absolutely skeleton staff at all times corporate doesn't care how behind you get on prescriptions due to staffing. they know this will result in more customer abuse but they don't care. tell you to promise people 15 minute wait times, how can I promise 15 minutes with 15 other people waiting and a total of three people in the pharmacy? One on register permanently, a pharmacist glued to the phone and desperately trying to verify, and the last running around trying to fill prescriptions, take in new prescriptions, get yelled at by customers who've been waiting, answering the endless phone calls etc. Corporate wanting us to shill more and more products and services to people. we can't even do the base of what a pharmacy is supposed to with the lack of hours for staff, why would patients ever sign up for more services that they know we can't provide. its awful. lack of staffing in pharmacy is dangerous, coupled with intense pressure from customers and corporate alike. it makes mistakes more frequent, and I'm scared that CVS's way of management is going to get more patients killed.
