- "startup" mentality allows for greater project autonomy - western office atmosphere without typical Asian micromanagement; chinese language skills helpful but not essential - can tap on firmwide resources - competitive compensation with US benefits (social security, 401K, insurance, etc.)

- not as established as the Shanghai office in terms of branding, coporate culture, project wins - client relationships and project protocols are still work-in-progress - weak senior management and HR who rarely advocates on behalf employees
