The company is willing to spend money on new instruments. Analysts are trained in a broad range of techniques. Good work environment; in general, people are kind and willing to help others learn. I don't feel pressured to work outside of 9-5. Flexible schedule if you prefer to come in very early or later in the morning (there are people who arrive anywhere from 4 AM to 10 AM)

It's a CDMO so we have a lot of fresh faced grads or people with a few years of experience. It's healthy to get new people but it'd be nice to bump up the average experience level (it does seem like this is improving a bit). It seems like upper level bureaucracy is making it difficult for the on-site managers to keep some good people. Like a lot of businesses, I don't think they are willing to do enough to ensure current employees get necessary salary bumps to keep them competitive in a market where jumping jobs can be critical for career/salary growth. The company sometimes deals with skill deficient or lazy people, but sometimes they just leave them and let them drag down the team (i'm sure that is not unique to Cambrex though)
