Working with the patients and listening to them and being able to help them as much as I can.

Minpunten

Management sucks, stuffing is the worst. There's been many times when I was left alone on the floor, taking care of both boys and girls and also doing the paperwork and everything that MHW is supposed to do. Sometimes I don't get to take lunch because we are so short that there's nobody to watch your back when you leave the floor.

Working with patients is fulfilling. Working in the med room is fun

Hardly ever scheduled for what I was hired for… med nurse. Expected to do the job of MHW’s due to low staffing, assist the RN, and do the med room ( what I was supposedly hired for). I don’t mind assisting when my job is complete but I did not get my license to be scheduled as floor staff for 12 hours. Not even the MHW’s, whom I highly respect, have to do q15rounds for 12 hours.
