Unmatched experiences, lifelong friends, networking opportunities, relaxed (to a fault) environment, perks, pats on the back..I could go on.

Minpunten

The absolute worst job security ever. I remember reading a Glassdoor review before taking this position, and seeing someone write of Ben Brashen (CEO) 'cool guy attitude'. This could not have been more on point. I believe Ben has good intentions, however his business is a sinking ship, and unlike a good Captain, Ben would rather see employee after employee disposed of until he hopefully finds a system that will work. If you are looking for a summer job, don't think twice - CardTapp is for you. If you want a company to grow with, I strongly encourage you to not waste your time.

There were snacks and soft drinks available when there was an office, pre-pandemic.

*Lack of leadership from CEO. He doesn't know what he doesn't know and isn't humble enough to realize there are things he could improve with modest effort. He stated "I'm good at what I do" just before I left CardTapp. I think he was trying to convince himself because I already had my own opinion. *The CEO understands the value of processes but seems unable to create them and has difficulty working within them. Yes, that creates chaos connected to anything the CEO manages himself. *CEO isn't qualified. He's a one-trick pony that believes being a sales specialist qualifies him to lead a management team. He has no relevant experience save being in a sales role before he founded the company. *The term that best fits this organization from an executive management standpoint is 'amateur hour' - where incompetence, mediocrity and overconfidence go to hang out and make excuses.
