Pluspunten
It started off great, seemed like everyone was wonderful, open and welcoming. Seems like they wanted you to succeed but then didn't back you up.
Minpunten
They hire people and tell them that they can work an adjusted work shift (7-4). Then a few weeks later, they said no, you have to work 8-5. They are making people all the sudden work in the office that were allowed to work from home. They have done this recently to multiple people because of "fairness." In today's work environment, schedules are due to the position and not "fairness." Some roles just know they will have to be in the office in a certain timeframe or a "in-person" role. But in today's job economy and atmosphere, it's totally acceptable to have some people who work remote, adjusted hours, etc... They also have some manager in Accounting that "walks the floor" skulking to see "who is in a chair." It's truly childish and insulting to working professionals. There are a lot of clicks. And they will say they have your back and then they don't. They seem to push people out very quickly based on those clicks. It's unfortunate because it could be a good company. They need to invest and trust in the talent they hire. If someone is upset because they don't get to work a flexible shift, they should have negotiated that. And the upper management shouldn't be running scared on everyone's remarks. There is quite a bit of nepotism. You can't have that and then say things have to be "fair."
