At CTS, you are not just a number and you will not get easily lost in the shuffle. Each employee is treated on a similar level, no matter the job title or tenure. Owners and management know most of their employees on a personal level, which makes it a lot easier to approach them with issues or ideas. Since the company size is smaller, employees and departments work very closely together on a daily basis to achieve tasks. For the most part, employees connect on a face to face level rather than through email chains, which can sometimes be impersonal. The work that is done at CTS is very rewarding, as you essentially have the ability to make a customized product with your own hands. No two days are the same, so you don't have that repetitive or "boring" experience. The growth potential at CTS is always there and employees are often promoted quickly. Management recognizes hard work (especially going above and beyond) and will reward you accordingly. You get what you put in!
Minpunten
Holiday season tends to burn employees out since the hours are long and weekends are mandatory. In the foreseeable future though, CTS will get to a point where long hours/weekends won't be necessary during the holidays. Bridging the communication gap between departments can be difficult. The pace at which projects are done can be too fast and other departments then have to catch up. Issues with what they have in house should take higher priority over new things.
