Minpunten
The company is making a clear conscious shift to 'go back to how things were' regarding flexibility. Going from 50/50 office and WFH structure - which over 80% of the company in a staff survey voted was beneficial - more senior management took this positive and turned it into a negative by enforcing a 60/40 attendance with the days dictated. When raised with Senior Management the impacts this has on inclusivity and work/life balance impacts we were told "it doesn't affect my life if I'm in an extra day" - showing the complete detachment that Senior Leaders have with their workers. There is no shift on wage improvements (the assistant wage having been lowered from 25k to 22.5k over the course of years) - when raised as an issue as the extra commute days and cost of living hitting those of us at the very bottom of the C4 chain, told by higher up management "do you know what happens to companies when they pay staff more" - again showing complete disregard for those of us stating we struggle to get by, working for a none for profit company whos CEO is taking a record 1.4 million a year (as shared in the Guardian). As well as this as an Assistant we complete tasks that are above our pay grade (the Exec role above being a whole 10k more than assistant wage) and still we are not considered regarding our abysmal wage. There is no incentive to do well with this role as progression is near zero. All in all the company I started working for has rapidly declined and is overall a pretty depressing place to work.
