Do not give Cineplex any more of your time! I wasted 10 years with this company for nothing. -The pay seems nice when your in your early 20's, but then you realize you can make more at Tim Hortons! -The yearly bonus is ridiculous, one year I got a blanket as my bonus. I'm not joking. -Any negative feedback from customers results in disciplinary action. Even if you can literally prove that they are lying. -Training is non-existent for management. You're only told to shadow another manager. -Yearly reviews are useless. For one, you write them yourself (about yourself). Their reasoning is that "they want to know where you think you stand". Then they proceed to ignore it completely and just read off the review they wrote about you. -Wage increases are a joke. 2.5% is the max only if you are in the GTA. 1% for the rest of Ontario -As the only manager in the building during a shift, it is impossible to take any kind of break (for food, for a smoke, for the washroom). To sum up: Don't waste your time with Cineplex, because they don't give a s**t about you.
